1. Junior Research Fellow
Two
Management of water logging and salinity in central Haryana using Geoinformatics sponsored by DST, GOI, New Delhi.
One year
1st Class M.Sc. in Soils/ Agronomy/ Computer Applications/ Geography/ Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ Environmental Sciences/ Agriculture Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in use of Remote Sensing & GIS for thematic mapping.

2. Junior Research Fellow
One
Change Detection Study of Traditional Surface Water Bodies in Southern Part of Haryana using Space Technology sponsored by DST, GOI, New Delhi.
Eighteen months
1st Class M.Sc. in Geology/ Hydrology/ Geophysics/ Environmental Sciences/ Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics/ Computer Science. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in use of Remote Sensing & GIS for thematic mapping.

3. Junior Research Fellow
Two
National Geomorphological and Lineament Mapping sponsored by NRSC, Hyderabad.
One year
1st Class M.Sc. in Geology/ Geophysics/ Earth Sciences/ Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in use of Remote Sensing & GIS for thematic mapping.

4. Junior Research Fellow
One
Area estimation of burning of wheat/ rice stubbles in Kaithal, Kurukshetra and Karnal districts of Haryana sponsored by Department of Agriculture, Haryana.
Ten months
1st Class M.Sc. in Agronomy/ Agro-Meteorology/ Environmental Sciences/ Botany/ Agricultural Physics/ Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ Spatial Information Technology. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in use of Remote Sensing and GIS for thematic mapping.

5. Project Fellow
One
Cotton crop acreage estimation & bio-physical parameter studies in cotton growing districts of Haryana sponsored by SAC, Ahmedabad.
One year
1st Class M.Sc. in Plant Physiology/ Agronomy/ Agro-Meteorology/ Botany/ Agricultural Physics/ Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ Spatial Information Technology. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in use of Remote Sensing and GIS for thematic mapping.

6. Project Fellow
One
Delineation of Palaeochannels as potential sites for Ground Water exploration in Piedmont Zone of Haryana sponsored by HSCST, DST, Haryana.
Six months
1st Class M.Sc. in Hydrology/ Geophysics/ Geology/ Geography/ Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the use of Remote Sensing & GIS for thematic mapping.

7. Junior Research Fellow
Two
Nation-wide Wasteland Change Analysis sponsored by NRSC, Hyderabad.
Six months
1st Class M.Sc. in Soils/ Agronomy/ Computer Applications/ Geography/ Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ Environmental Sciences/ Agriculture Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in use of Remote Sensing & GIS for thematic mapping.

8. Project Fellow
Two
Updation of Sajara maps under Cadastral Mapping Project at DRO Office, Ambala.
One year
1st Class M.Sc. in Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ Geography/ Computer Science. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the use of Remote Sensing & GIS for cadastral mapping.

The appointment in the projects will be purely on contractual basis for the period as mentioned above or earlier and it will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit, on any post. Candidates fulfilling eligibility conditions may walk in for interview on 30.07.2010 at 10.00 A.M. in this office along with duly filled in prescribed application forms, which can be downloaded from our website (www.harsac.org ), one passport size photograph and original & attested copies of the certificates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Number of posts may vary.
