Job Description :
The Lead Business Analyst provides analysis, coordination, and leadership within one or more technology project workstreams. This position will interact with other technology groups, business groups, and other project teams in achieving the project workstream’s goals and objectives.
Responsibilities :
** Work with business partners to define project goals and objectives.
** Lead the requirements analysis and process documentation.
** Work closely with business project team during requirements gathering, analysis and functional testing phases.
** Collaborate with business partner, vendor partners and other technology teams to ensure effective requirements analysis and specifications.
** Understand the business process at the appropriate level to influence the future business process design and technology solution.
** Ensure translation of functional requirements to technical specifications.
** Develop, coordinate and execute rollout plans including system integration testing, user acceptance testing, communication and training.
** Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships and maintain effective communications with team members, stakeholders, and business partners to effectively influence the achievement of business results.
** Ensure compliance to standard American Express project management methodologies and reporting techniques.
Desired Candidate Profile :
** Candidate should preferably be bachelor’s degree holder in Engineering or a MCA degree holder, 10 + years of experience in managing projects of global nature.
** Previous experience with global technology projects is required.
** Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, sub-ledger accounting and reporting,
** Experience in implementing Oracle Financials Systems : AP, AR, Procurement, GL, Project, and other applications like iPM, and iExpense.
** Prior experience with project management methodologies required.
** Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and able to work well under pressure and in an independent environment.
** High degree of initiative and self-motivation is a must.
** Familiarity or experience with at least 2 of the following :
o Oracle Financials, Oracle Reports, XML publisher, Discoverer, ETL, SQL
** Demonstrated ability to drive results.
