HINDUSTAN AERONAUTICS LIMITED (HAL), a Navaratna Company, is a premier
Aeronautical Industry of South Asia, with 19 Production Divisions and 10 R&D Centres
spread across the Country. HAL’s spectrum of expertise encompasses design,
development, manufacture, repair, overhaul and upgrade of Aircraft, Helicopters, Aero-
Engines, Industrial & Marine Gas Turbines, Accessories, Avionics & Systems, and Structural
components for Satellites and Launch vehicles.
HAL at its Liaison Office Delhi requires a Consultant on contract basis for a period of one
year for the following Post:
Name of the Post : CONSULTANT (LIAISONOFFICE – NEW DELHI )
Maximum age limit : 62 YEARS

JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Qualification : Graduate from a recognized University/Institution with
Graduate Degree in Law. Engineering background with
knowledge on Customs Clearance, DGCA Permits,
Liasoning Skills, Protocol arrangements, Preparation of
Budgets etc will be an added advantage.

Experience : Should have minimum of 25 years experience in,
Administration, Human Resource, Liasoning with Ministries &
various Government Departments like DGCA, Customs &
Excise Department and other related areas;

Job Specifications : The Consultant should assist Resident Manager, Liaison
Office, Delhi in the following activities;
** Making arrangements for meetings like IITF, DEFExpo,
Aero India show and other Defence
Exhibitions. Coordination of activities like setting up
of stall, distribution of invitation cards, conducting of
dignitaries and arrangement of meetings in the stall
itself ;
** Coordination of activities of DAVP and for release
of advertisements for all HAL Divisions;
** Liaison with Ministries & various Government
Departments and follow up action for approval of
proposals as received from all HAL Divisions on
priority;
** Obtaining of Duty Exemption Certificates, Custom
Duty Exemption Certificates, End User Certificates,
Legalization of Documents from Embassies, DGCA
Permits for DGR Cargo and approval from Min. of
Surface Transport for Carriage of cargo by Sea;
** Coordination of activities for Visa for Officers going
abroad. Protocol arrangements to VIPs from
Ministries;
** Obtaining clearance for Import & Export Shipments
from all HAL Divisions which are landing at Delhi,
from various agencies viz, customs, Airlines, Clearing
Agents, Air Force MCU, Transporters etc;
** Collection of technical documents from the Airport
(directly from the Aircraft in which they are
brought) pertaining to the Projects of HAL;

Emoluments : Selected candidates will be offered consolidated Salary
(Negotiable).
