Applications are invited for appointment of Programme Officer (Link Worker Scheme) on contractual basis.

Duties and responsibilities:
1. Facilitate compilation and analysis of information (Physical and Financial) generated in Link Workers
Scheme for ensuring evidence based planning and monitoring.
2. Facilitate development of benchmarks – programmatic and financial for each state to comply with the
year wise targets for NACP-III.
3. Ensure planning and implementation of the program in consonance with the GFATM Round-7
targets
4. Facilitate development of capacity of staffs at SACS and TSU level to implement, monitor and review
the progress of LWS.
5. Working closely with UNDP, UNICEF and USAID to ensure common operational guidelines
6. Develop specific plans for states to scale up and saturate target population as required
7. Help and facilitate mapping of LWS villages as per the requirements of NACO.
8. Help and facilitate the Program Officers and at NACO Level for monitoring and guiding the NACP-III.
9. Aid the implementation of training activities in co ordination with regional and National Training
Institutes.
10. Develop inventory of documents about the best practices and sharing with stakeholders.
11. Develop plan to ensure the saturation of coverage of vulnerable sexually active population/rural sex
workers.
12. Provide technical assistance to SACS/TSU
13. Ensure the contracting process of NGOs/Partners
14. Coordinate for Fund release to NGOs/Partners
15. Capacity building of SACS and NGOs/Partners
16. Ensure the evaluation process of LWS
17. Any other work assigned by Senior Officers

Educational Qualification and Experience:
1. Post Graduate preferably in Social Sciences
2. Strong analytical skills, good writing and communication skills in English and Hindi
3. Working knowledge of computers including MS office package
4. Minimum 3 years of experience in National/ State Level in programme development, monitoring and
implementation of HIV/AIDS programmes or programmes under the National Rural Health Mission including
experience in field based implementation.

Remuneration: In the range of Rs. 51750-75000 per month (depending on qualification and experience).

Duration: Initially the contract shall be for a period of one year.

Age: Not more than 50 years.
