 The Department of Teacher Education and Extension (DTEE) is a constituent unit of the
 NCERT which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource
 Development, Govt. of India. It is proposed to fill up the following posts on contractual
 basis on consolidated monthly payment for a period of one year:

 NCERT which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource
 Development, Govt. of India will hold walk-in-interview for the post of Office Manager
 under the project “A Study of Impact of In-service Teacher Training under SSA on
 Classroom Transaction”. Retired person can also apply. The details of the post are as
 under:

 5. Qualification Graduate or above from the recognized university
 6. Experience About 10 years experience related to administrative

 1(a)Essential qualifications
 i. Master degree in Education/Science/Social Science/Humanities with 55% marks
 or equivalent.
 ii. Two Years experience in the area of Teacher Education
 iii. NET Qualified

(b) Desirable
1. Ph.D./ M.Phil
 2. Computer proficiency
 3. Experience of working in Centrally Sponsored Schemes like Teacher
 Education, SSA, DPEP
 2. Age Limit Thirty years (relaxed up to five years for SC/ST and
 female candidates)
 3. Salary Rs. 12,000/- p.m. (consolidated)
 4. Tenure One year.

Educational Qualification and Experience
A. Essential
i. Master degree in Science/Social Sciences/Humanities/Education
 ii. Experience of having worked at the level of Reader or above
 iii. About 10 years experience of conducting research projects at Regional/ National
 level in the filed of teacher education
B. Desirable
i. Ph.D. in Education or published work of equivalent standard
 ii. Understanding of teacher education, its problems and issues
iii. Publication in the field of Teacher education
iv. Experience in administration/accounts matters
