Leighton India one of the leading contractors & project developers, has been awarded the ONGC’s prestigious Pipeline Replacement Project-2, which involves Engineering, Procurement & Installation of over 200KM of Rigid & Flexible pipelines of various diameters in Mumbai high field.

Key Areas of responsibilities include :
A) Engineering & Materials
- Preparing & reviewing Pipe wall thickness calculations, Piping & Valve material specification, Stress Analysis in accordance with Company standards & general codes.
- To review & understand Project/Tender Bids, Project specification, Scope of work etc. accordingly monitor deliverables, interface points, hook-ups etc.
- Reviewing vendor’s technical specifications & Technical Bid Evaluation of Vendor Bid/Offers for Valves (Ball/Gate/Globe/Check), Scrapper Tee, Hinged Closure, Pig Detector, Shutdown Valve, Pipes, Fittings, Flanges & other bulk material etc.
- In charge of Isometric issuance and MTO control.

B) Design :
- Designing of Pipe GA drawings, Isometrics, Support details, Material take-off.
- Engineering Review of P&IDs, GA Drawings, Equipment Layouts, Piping & Support layout, Stress Report, Isometrics & CPS/SPS as per project/bid requirement.
- Provide piping inputs to P&IDs, Line designation table (LDT), Instrument specification sheets (ISS) in terms of piping classes, color coding, stress relieving requirements, stress analysis, valve types and specialty items.

C) Co-ordination & Control :
- Interaction with Clients (ONGC) for approval of Purchase Specifications, GA drawings etc.
- Co-ordination with Vendors, Procurement & QC dept. to achieve material deliveries in time.
- Monitor piping deliverables, interface points, hook-ups, Material requirement in accordance with Scope of work.
