Eligibility: (a) For JRF: MSc with 55% marks and JRF/LS of CSIR-UGC or GATE with 95 percentile (b) For SRF: MSc with 55% marks and two years of research experience in synthetic organic chemistry/ SRF of CSIR with 55% marks in MSc (chemistry) (c) For RA: PhD in Organic Chemistry with proven research excellence in terms of publications/patents etc and with at least 55% marks at the MSc level/ RA-ship of CSIR with at least 55% marks at the MSc level.
Age:
The upper age limit for JRF, SRF and RA shall be 28, 32 and 35 years respectively on the day of application. A relaxation of 5 years is applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and women candidates.
Stipend: Monthly stipend of Rs 12000(JRF), 14000(SRF) or 16000(RA) as per CSIR norms.

Mere fulfillment of qualifications/experience requirements does not entitle a candidate to be called for the interview. Qualification
: Essential – M. Sc. Chemistry/ M. Pharm with minimum 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale or 60% marks with NET (CSIR-UGC JRF/LS) or GATE with at least a 90 percentile).
Desirable – Experience in organic synthesis/analysis/assay set up.
Maximum Age
: 26 years (relaxable up to 5 yrs in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, women and physically handicapped candidates)
Remuneration: Rs.12,000/- pm + HRA for first two years & Rs 14,000/-pm + HRA for third year (As per DST norms).
