Project title : Mobile Operated Land Rover
Brief description :
In this project the robot is controlled by a mobile phone which makes a call to the mobile phone attached to the robot. In the course of a call if any button is pressed a tone corresponding to the button pressed is heard at the other end of the call. This tone is called DTMF tone. The robot perceives this DTMF tone with the help of a phone stacked in the robot. The processing of the received tone is done by Atmega 16 microcontroller with the help of DTMF decoder, HT9170. The decoder decodes the DTMF tone in to its equivalent binary digit and this binary number is sent to the microcontroller. The microcontroller is preprogrammed to take a decision for any given input. The microcontroller outputs its decision to motor drivers to drive the motors in order to have forward or backward motion or a turn. Any mobile which makes a call to the mobile phone stacked in the robot will act as remote. So, this is a simple robotic project which even does not require the construction of receiver and transmitter kits, but has an innovated application of cell phone and robust control.

3. Cell Broadcast (CBC):
In today’s mobile market scenario lot of services are going underutilized. CB (Cell Broadcast) Service is one such example. Cell Broadcast is a one-to-many service which enables broadcasting of messages to a large number of people at once. A Cell Broadcast message is sent to all mobiles in a certain area, but only the phones where that particular channel is active will display the message. By choosing which channels to activate the user can choose which broadcast messages to receive. This way information can be targeted at the correct audience. This document gives the test plan for testing all the features available in CBC Subscriber Profile portal.

5. Mzone Mobile/WEB/WAP Application (www.mzone.in):
Mzone is mobile infotainment application which can be installed in mobile and test the functionality of application. Tested the mzone on Mobile, WEB portal and WAP portal. Initially we have to subscribe to mzone and then download the mzone client into mobile. Through mzone subscribers can shoot, send, share the photos/videos among mzone users and also to wide audience. Mzone is having another cool feature called as “Match making”. Through this option users can subscribe to match making and upload their matrimonial profile in mzone application. This mobile application is tested both on WEB and client.
