Advertisement for the post of Registrar (on Short term Contract)

Applications are invited from Indian citizens who have retired from the position of Registrar .The
National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) is being set up
by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI), Govt. of India. NIFTEM would be an apex
world class Institute that will cater to the needs of entrepreneurs, industry, exporters, policy makers,
the government and the existing institutions.

NIFTEM’s sprawling campus spread across 100 acres is located near NCR at Kundli, Sonepat,
Haryana. The state of the art campus is being equipped with the cutting edge Infrastructure,
extensive libraries and residential facilities for staff and students. The institute would commence its
activities by September 2010.

Post : Registrar
Qualification : Retired Registrar having extensive experience
of working in educational and research
establishments and other institutions of
higher/ technical education of national repute.
Age : Upto 62 yrs ( Retirement not prior to 30-5-2008)
Remuneration : A consolidated amount of Rs.50,000/- or may
be fixed on the basis of last pay drawn while in
service minus pension, whichever is beneficial
to the selected candidate.
Period of contract : 6 -12 months

The appointment to the position of Registrar will be purely on a contractual basis.
