The above vacancies are now in existence. The list of selected candidates published by the
Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year
provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry
of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates
will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and those that may be reported
to the Commission in writing during the currency of the list.
If an examination (OMR/Written) is conducted as the first phase of selection a Short list or
Probability list will be published on the basis of marks secured in the examination and the number of
candidates to be included in the list will be decided by the Commission later.
5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment
6. Age (18-36) : Only candidates born between 2.1.1974 and 1.1.1992 (both dates
included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are
eligible for usual relaxation.

7. Qualifications :
1 Minimum General Educational qualification of SSLC Standard
2 Higher Grade KGTE or MGTE in Typewriting (English & Malayalam) and Shorthand (English
and Malayalam )
OR
Diploma in Secretarial Practice and Stenography of the Government of Kerala.
Desirable : Experience in Teaching

Kerala Public Service Commission. Detailed instructions regarding the submission of

www.keralapsc.org. No application fee is required. The barcode number in the application
form shall be quoted in all further enquiries/correspondence. Documents to prove
qualification, age and community have to be produced as and when called for. Applications
which are not submitted in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be
summarily rejected.
