Position : ETL Developer

Job Description :
To augment the strength of ETL team in the company and strengthen the department to accommodate more clients.

Duties :
* Ability to develop using an ETL tool (Informatica, Oracle warehouse builder, Data Integrator, Data Stage)
* Substantial ETL architecture design experience within data warehousing environments governed by applying appropriate methodologies and ETL standards
* Analyze business data requirements to produce relevant ETL architecture deliverables (source analysis, source to target maps, ETL flows)
* Work with ETL developers and Business Analysts to develop source to targets maps and identify transformation rules
* Create or alter data integration blueprint and install, configure and tune ETL infrastructure to support the data warehousing solution
* Participation in on-call rotation duty for 7 by 24 support and periodic Disaster Recovery tests
* Ability to write complex SQL queries to support the Implementations efforts
* Experience with data modeling
* Ability to work under pressure during system outage situations
* Excellent ability to work with clients and resolve client issues

Skills/Qualification :
* Minimum of Bachelors in Engineering preferably in information technology
* At least 2 to 3 years of experience in relational database and working in ETL
* Architecture and relevant ETL tool development experience
* Data Modeling, methodology, governance and quality assurance
* Extensive Knowledge in Oracle 10G and higher versions
* Working Knowledge of Data warehousing and business intelligence application, preferably Oracle Discoverer or Siebel
* Ability to work under pressure during system outage situations
* Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Environmental issues – can’t access Informatica objects; folders, workflows, sessions, mappings due to privileges. Client applications shutdown or freeze, or any other issues in the development environment.
Unplanned Activities - Restart Informatica services due to problems encountered on the network, datacenter, or PowerCenter application. Send email notification to Informatica user community and subject matter experts regarding outage, proposed resolution and related activities, including request to verify scheduled production workflows and sessions are executed after production system is back on-line.
