Applications are invited to fill up the following post on regular basis in Himachal Pradesh
Power Corporation Limited, Shimla :

JO(Geology) : 5 posts

Age : 18 to 45 yrs. As on 31st July, 2010 (relaxation in age will be as per State Govt. rules).

· Remuneration : In the pay scale of Rs. 10900-34800 Plus Grade Pay (PB-3).

· Allowances : As admissible under rules of HPPCL.

Preference for project affected families shall be as follows :
Ø First preference shall be given to Main Project Affected Family.
Ø Second preference shall be given to Project Affected Family
Ø Third preference shall be given to Project Affected Area.
Ø Fourth preference shall be given to Project Affected Zone.
Candidates belonging to MPAF/PAF/PAA/PAZ are requested to attach
documentary proof of their belonging to Project Affected Families from the concerned Deputy
Commissioner or Head of the project, HPPCL as per the Relief & Rehabilitation Policy of the
Corporation.
· Selected candidates after completion of the probation shall be placed at S-3 level.
· Candidate/ applicant should be bonafide Himachali and registered in local employment exchange
of H.P. and attached a copy of registration number with the application form.

· Application Fee :
A demand draft of Rs. 100/- for General Category and Rs. 25/ for Reserved
Categories made in favour of Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, payable at any
scheduled bank at Shimla.
· Last date for receipt of applications – 13th August, 2010. No applications shall be entertained
after last date.
· Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their applications & experience will be called for
test/interview.
· No TA/ DA will be paid to attend the Interview / Written test.
