Platform Validation
Responsibilities:
• Define Test plan , test strategy, design test cases & automation for DELL system/solutions involving
- x86 Servers
- DAS/SAN/NAS(FC/FCOE/iSCSI/SAS protocols)
- Windows/Linux/VMWare Operating Systems
- Networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers and/or Network Security.
• Collaborate with teams to deploy the Diverse Infrastructure Technologies.
• Interlock with global teams/ODMs/Vendors and effective engagement throughout the program.
• Compiling accurate status reports and communicating to management; Track status on a daily basis.
Skills Required:
• In depth knowledge of x86 Server Hardware, Storage, Networking and Operating systems.
• In depth understanding of system management and remote management of servers.
• Strong Testing fundamentals.
• Good articulation and communication skills - Both written and oral; good Interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge in Scripting skills: Python/Perl/GUI tools will be an added advantage.
• Experience with network traffic generators such as Ixia, Spirent and open source tools will be an advantage.
• Experience with Enterprise Applications related to Database/Networking/Web/Mail/System Management will be an advantage.
• Experience in system integration/Administration, Network Administration will be an advantage.
Minimum Qualification: BE/Btech/ME/Mtech/MCA with 6 to 12 years of relevant experience.
• Should have 6-12 years of relevant experience

SOFTWARE VALIDATION
Responsibilities:
Develop test framework, scripts and tools for test automation Contribute to test strategy, planning , design reviews, and test code reviews.
Team leadership for Test planning, strategy, execution and automation.
Leadership in defining, driving and delivering all aspects of test elements including post project assesments.
Requirements and Qualification:
Strong testing fundamentals with atleast 6 years experience in testing system software.
Minimum of 2 years experience in UI automation using RFT/QTP and VB/C# scripting.
Proven ability to debug and analyze problems independently Test experience in Vmware/HyperV/ and Workload management/ provisioning software Test experience in SAN or ISCSI or FC

Minimum Qualification: BE/Btech/ME/Mtech/MCA with 5 to 12 years of relevant experience.

After the Test :
Post processing of data, Plotting RX Level and Quality Information for overall picture of the driven area, Initial Discussions on drive test with Local engineers, reporting urgent problems for immediate action, Analyzing Network features performance after new implementations, Transferring comments on parameter implementations after new changes.
Recommendation :
