The ODYSSEY INFORMATICS Training Program:

The program has been designed by experienced, quality medical transcription professionals as an intensive course. As we are a production center, our team of senior MTs & QAs, having abundant hands on experience, has designed the training program. Using some of the best training facilities available, the program aims to produce a quality medical transcriptionist in a span of eight months, plus four months of professional practice.

The program is conducted by an experienced faculty using Beginning Medical Transcription and Advanced Medical Transcription tapes. In addition, we also make the students practice on the old files simultaneously.

The Offer:
Upon successful completion of the course, outstanding trainees are absorbed as trainee MTs in the The ODYSSEY INFORMATICS Production Center itself.

REMUNERATION:
Upon successful completion of course one can expect an earnings between Rs. 5000/- to Rs. 8000/-. In general in MT industry just two years experienced Medical Transcriptionists are earning upto Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 20,000/- per month, whereas three years experienced MTs earning up to Rs. 30,000/- per month.

JOB HIERARCHY:
Upon successful completion of training student is offered a post of Trainee Medical Transcriptionist. Thereafter Medical Transcriptionist, Senior Medical Transcriptionist, Quality Analyst, Editor, and Production Manager.

Home Medical Transcription:
As student gain experience and acquires technical skills, one has an option to do home medical transcription (HMT) making it a good choice for anyone who wants to work in confine of his home and wants an independent working. HMT gives an option to work in flexible hours. Various companies provide job work for HMT. There is no dearth of job for right candidate and earning potentials are very high.

TRAINING

Odyssey Informatics helps student to establish a career in medical coding industry by providing training in medical coding and further preparing students for certificate examination process.

Medical Coding training is divided into three months with 24 classes (Saturday & Sunday) for 3-hour duration. Training module includes detailed study of anatomy, medical terminology, ICD-9, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding, Modifiers, E/M coding, medical billing overview, live coding examples, and interview preparation.

Upon completion of training students are placed in multinational companies mainly in national capital region.
