Worked on Analysis of Unix system activity Data using utilities like sar, vmstat, memtool and other system utilities. Also done some scripting work for system data collection and application specific memory and CPU utilization analysis.
Performed SCO-Unix System Support on PC desktop. Duties included locating installation errors in Unixware 7 and configuring LAN network for PC-pentium hardware. Also worked on writing system scripts, adding or removing hard disks, CD-ROM drives etc.

Worked as a Consultant in the following projects.
PCI driver testing on Sun PC Server. Sun supports SCSI and Network PCI cards on the PC called Panther. The work involved configuring network interface ( Fast Ethernet, FDDI, multiport Ethernet ) and configuring SCSI and fibre channel SCSI cards with disks. Running various network test suites Sunvts, ttcp and Sun’s SCSI test suites on Sun platforms. Duties also included writing scripts to run test cases and reporting bugs using Sun’s bugtraq.
Also provided support to the build environment of Siemens-pyramid Code. This included modifying make scripts and building the right version of their Unix Code.

Involved in release related work of MP-RAS Unix over various NCR PC models. Responsibilities included writing SHELL programs to automate testing and identifying platform specific bugs

Performed driver related support work on PCL/ONIX systems running on Altos PCs. Worked on Ethernet driver for NE2000/LNE card. Original code was for a different driver and written on AT&T Unix (SVR 4.0). Some porting work was done for PCL ONIX.
