    Job Summary :
    As a NGS (NetApp Global Support) Program Manager, You participate in the capacity of an Individual Contributor providing project management services for internal operational programs from initiation through delivery. The NGS Program Managers act in the role of in-house consultants and manage all processes and systems relevant to the successful completion of internal services/support goals including : review of user, technical and logistical requirements, identifying tasks, assigning and coordinating resources and creating/tracking project schedules. This is a challenging position with the opportunity to work collaboratively with professionals in a number of Service functions, with a focus on developing, managing, tracking and documenting internal operational programs.

    Essential Functions :
    ** Develop and manage NGS Support Readiness plan that takes into account all the Support requirements, milestones and deliverables.
    ** Work with the NGS functional groups to develop, document and communicate business model requirements, processes and tools.
    ** Work with NGS delivery teams and cross-functional organizations to execute and implement on the Support Readiness plan.
    ** Work and provide leadership to cross-functional teams and drive NGS requirements into Enterprise IT and NGS delivery teams for operational/execution programs.
    ** Develop measurement criteria and tools to monitor and drive continuous serviceability and process improvement.
    ** Identify and communicate project scope and ensure program milestones and objectives are met within quality, cost and schedule.
    ** Keep management informed of key issues and changes that may impact expected business results.
    ** Ensure that projects adhere to company processes
    ** Experience working in or closely with a Customer Support organization and/or been in an Engineering Program Management role working with a Customer Support Organization.

    Job Requirements :
    ** Strong oral and written communication skills.
    ** Ability to work collaboratively, and act in a lead role as a subject matter expert, within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.
    ** Experience with MS Project or similar project management tools desired.
    ** Experience with webpage creation & publishing, MS Office or equivalent.
    ** Must have demonstrated competence in managing complex, cross-functional projects to timely resolution
    ** Experience working in or closely with a Customer Support organization
    ** Must have skills to effectively influence cross functional teams
    ** Must be able to facilitate teams to successful resolution of issues
    ** Must have good negotiation skills and conflict management & resolution skills
    ** Familiarity with hardware and software development life cycle models
    ** Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and utilizing project management applications.
    ** Creative approach to problem solving.
    ** Program Management experience.

    Responsibility :
    ** The tasks this individual is responsible are often unstructured and the issues addressed are less defined requiring new perspectives and creative approaches.
    ** This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation.
    ** Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions.

    Interaction :
    ** This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties.
    ** Limited supervision and direction is provided, as this individual can operate and drive results and set priorities independently.
    ** The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.
    ** To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through regular leadership and influencing others.

    Education & Experience :
    ** A minimum of 8 years of technology industry and project management experience is required. 9 to 11 years of experience is preferred.
    ** A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience is required.
    ** Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects.
