Job Summary :
As a Software Engineer in the Release Technologies team you will work as part of a team responsible for performing integration activities (code merging, triage, testing) and developing, maintaining and supporting integration/build or developer productivity tools designed to increase developer productivity and build reliability for NetApp’s next generation operating systems.

Job Requirements :
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to read, understand and program in Perl is required.
• Ability to read, understand C and C++ developed code
• Experience working in a software development environment including exposure to SCM[Preferably Perforce], bug tracking and build systems.
• Demonstrated ability to complete multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.
• Experience in supporting high level technical users and custom designed tools.
• Experience using make is a significant plus.
• Willingness to learn new skills in order to be effective at your job.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other engineers worldwide to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards.
Education and Experience : Education & Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience is required. 5 to 7 years of experience is preferred.
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master Degree, or a PhD; or equivalent experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.
