Job Description:
* Responsible for Financial accounts,Budgeting, Costing and MIS, Purchase, Material management, Direct & Indirect taxation, Sales co-ordination, Custom & Excise etc.
* Procurement of routine raw materials such as coal/Iron ore/ Manganese ore, capital goods, spares and related engineering items and consumables.Sourcing of high volume/high value capital items/ materials for the steel plants and evaluation and finalization of bids both technical and commercial.
* Independently handle of contracts and procurement.
* Preparation of contract and deal negotiations, settlement and contracts. Procurement of itmes and contracting for services for the work at economical rate and time.
* Planning & Procurement of raw materials, equipments, consumables and spares.
* Negotiating with vendors to get the best price for procuring the materials. Vendor consolidation & elimination of tail end vendors.
* TPM implementation in Purchase and advice on improvement on activities in purchase.
* Involve in ISO/ QMS audit in the department.
* Ensuring all statutory requirement and laws at plant level are complied with.
* Ensure that financial data and analysis is adequate for all other functional managers to manage their department.
* Vital role in reduction of working capital carrying cost.

Desired Candidate Profile
We would prefer candidate with techno- commercial background with:
(BE + Material Management) or
(CA + Material Management)
