Description :
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is an independent non-governmental body given a wide range of rule-making, investigatory and enforcement powers. The FSA regulated entities within WFG Group are required to report certain data back to the Financial Services Authority (FSA) which is utilized by the FSA to assess the risks in the mortgage market and to assist with the prudential supervision of firms. The purpose of the FSA IRR project is to facilitate delivery of the required business data to the FSA for each of the legal entities within scope. Each legal entity remains ultimately responsible for achieving its own FSA compliance for MLAR, RMAR and PSD. The process must deliver the final quarterly reports for those legal entities within 20 working days after the end of each financial quarter.
Responsibilities :
- Involved in the Requirements gathering (gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, functional requirements and data specifications for Business Objects Universes and Reports)
- Involved in the Development, UAT and Production support phases of Business Objects Report development
- Handled a team of 3 resources for delivering different change requests raised by the business
- Constantly worked with Business users to provide them with the data in form of complex reports and excel sheets for analysis
- Coded macros using VBA editor for various utilities
- Created user profiles for new business users and also trained in using of Business Objects Reporter module
- Worked on cross-tab and master detail reports. Also represented the same in different types of charts
- Created documents on usage of Info View for offsite users with no full-client Business Object installed on their machines
- Involved in extensive testing of universes and reports
- Implemented row and object level security in business objects designer and supervisor module
- Pulling out the Data using multiple contexts using aliases and complex joins
- Developed complex SQL queries and functions to fetch data for reporting and to accomplish several computations
- Specified the standards/best practices for universes like maintaining design consistency. Also defined standards for the BO reports

Responsibilities:
- Involved in designing and developing the Universe and updating the existing Universes, developing canned/ Adhoc reports.
- Created Iterative dashboards with Xcelsius .
- Used Celsius interface to import Excel data and formulas, and output interactive dashboards, animated charts and graphs, financial presentations, and business calculators directly to PowerPoint, Word, PDF documents.
- Involved in creating BOXI Sales Overview Universe. Involved in creating reports like Sales Overview, Sales Revenue, delivery Quantity by Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly.
- Deployed the reports in Web Intelligence, so that the users can access the reports through Info view.
- Implemented Row level Security and Object level Security at Universe end in order to restrict the data.
- Analyzing the Reports using Drill Analysis functionalities such as Drill Down & Drill requirement.
- Detected Cardinalities and Loops and Resolved Loops using Contexts and Aliases. Checked the integrity of the Universes and created List of values, finally exported to Repository
