About The Team
The Creative Services team owns and drives the company's major online properties, including the corporate website (www.akamai.com), the corporate site fully translated in 6 languages, the Sales intranet site, the Corporate intranet site, and the Channel Partner Portal extranet (partners.akamai.com). The team also supports all Marketing and Sales online initiatives, including building custom microsites, supporting online newsletters and campaigns, and the development of our new custom Lead PreQualification system. Since the team is the online "face" of the company and is a critical part of the sales process, our work is regular recognized across the company and by Senior Management

Responsibilities: Work in Akamai's Global Marketing team on the development of user interfaces for various Akamai systems. You will develop interactive and reusable media elements, including web pages, dynamic applications, and video elements. Projects range from Video Based Concept Demos and Interactive Dashboards to Flash websites and Banners with dynamic content.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain custom Flash applications
Ability to translate static Design files into dynamic and complex Flash applications
Interact with Product Management/Marketing and Creative Services teams on a daily basis

Qualifications: Flash (MX and 8) Expertise with Strong familiarity with Action Script 3 programming - including object orientated coding, events, class/package structures
Knowledge of rtmp protocols, NetConnection and NetStream, displaying and controlling video and audio in flash applications.
Ability to maintain high Quality standards, be a self learner and have the drive to Innovate.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
