Title : SPEED CONTROL OF DC MOTOR USING SCR’S
DC motors are extensively used for precise motion control in industry, since ages. Till now, the analog circuitry is used in order to control circuit the voltage of the armature keeping field voltage as constant. In the power control circuit, either phase control or PWM are used. Each one is having its own advantages and disadvantages. In either case driving pulses applied by the control circuitry controls the power switches. The control circuitry basically generates the pulses as per the prerequisite and is applied to control switches. The control circuitry can be based on analog or digital.
