Role Description :

Primary :
Responsible for project, managing software development projects that span multiple geographies.

Individuals in this role will need to have moderate technical and good communication skills, be highly motivated, strive for continuous improvements, and enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of delivering quality products.

Work with Project Leads, Lead Engineers, QA Lead(s), Doc Lead(s)) to define and plan project delivery.
Work simultaneously on multiple projects spanning geographies.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Ensure project team members are providing status on projects on established frequency, and aggregate status results to project leads.
Analyze project status against timelines and milestones to identify and report project risks. Work with project leads to come up with contingency plans.
Develop best practices and recommendations for new tools in the areas of project management.
React to project adjustments and priority changes efficiently.

Secondary :
Be able to work on problems of moderate to diverse scope.
Demonstrate flexibility to work on multiple projects in a short duration of time.

Work as part of a small team and also able to work independently on an assigned task

Experience : 9 to 15 yrs, 2 yrs in actual project management
