Sandvik Materials Technology is dealing with specialty stainless steels and alloys for petro-chemical, fertilizer, nuclear power and other advanced applications including heating elements from Kanthal and medical implants.
Key performance areas :
Sales & Marketing of Steel Belts & Press Plates to diversified industrial sectors.
The selected person will be required to achieve sales targets, generate new enquiries,
handle quotations & customer communication,work on new accounts and several leads
simultaneously.
The position requires ability to execute strategic activities such as Market Plans, Identificaton
and development of new customers & new applications, value based selling augmentation
etc.
The position will also support in After-Sales-Service function
Your profile :
To be considered for this exciting and challenging position, successful candidates should possess the following :
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E.).
3-4 years of Industrial Selling experience; preferably in Sales of Capital Equipment to
Chemical, Refinery, Food processing, Rubber, Wood based panels industries.
Knowledge and exposure to different types of conveyors, material handling systems and
process packages will have an added advantage.
Experience in Technical Marketing or Sales is a plus.
Experience in preparation of quotations/proposals, submission of tender documents,
handling techno-commercial negotiations, customer complaints etc. is essential.
Ability & willingness to travel extensively all over India for Sales & Marketing.
Good communication skills – Written & Verbal is highly essential.
PC skills including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, power point presentations
and use of Internet & ERP.
Ability to perform in a team oriented environment.
Location : Pune, Maharashtra.
