CAM Software Application Engineer :

Qualifications :
** Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
** Excellent knowledge of CAD/CAM software, CNC machining and machining applications
** Experience running a CNC machine tool (Mill, Lathe, Wire EDM)
** Knowledge of mold making industry and metal part making industry
** At least 3 to 4 years of work experience in software or manufacturing
** Good English both verbal and written.
** An advantage if have some knowledge of computer programming (Visual Basic or C++)
** Can work independently but also a team player
** Somebody who wants to make a difference (passion)
** Ready for any challenges and willing to learn something new (vision)
** Ready to work hard and willing to go beyond what is expected (commitment)

Description of the job :

The CAM Software Application Engineer is based in Chennai. The engineer will support resellers, customers, and machine tool partners in India and possibly other nations in south east Asia. Must be willing to travel within India to visit customer factories (30 to 40%). Also may be required to attend a one week conference in USA every year.
** The engineer will become an expert in ESPRIT CAD/CAM software to program all kinds of machine tools.
** The engineer will report to Asia Technical Manager in Tokyo and also to the General Manager Asia Pacific in Shanghai. Sometimes there will be pressure to finish a job on time.
** The engineer will be comfortable doing trainings and presentations in front of many people.
** The engineer should be excited about learning new skills, such as a programming language or working with new types of machine tools.
** Every day will be a new adventure with new challenges and new problems to solve.

BE-Aerospace, Tucson is design and Manufacturer of Aeroplane interiors and Electrical systems The main aim of the project is to extract the views from 3D models and drafting the views according to project specifications and convert the model into DXF and PDF.

* Generation of 2D drawings for Assembly and Part models using Cad tool Unigraphics Nx-5 and creation of ECO, according to the standards given by the client.
* All the assemblies, parts and detailed drawings have been thoroughly checked and subjected to quality checks before submitting to the client.
