Responsibilities: About the Job
This position is responsible for the support of all backend development and maintenance efforts for www.akamai.com, Akamai’s Intranet sites, Akamai’s Partner Extranet, and all other Marketing group web-based projects. Responsibilities include updating and customizing content management system templates, writing form processing scripts, and developing customized applications.

Responsibilities
* Meet with internal customers to determine project requirements then build applications using the most appropriate technologies.
* Maintain and improve customized content management system for internal and external websites. This includes, but is not limited to, scripts for publishing content to production servers and templates that allow content owners to easily maintain their content.
* Support various web-based projects including, but not limited to, template updates, site redesigns, form processing scripts.
* Develop applications that help work more efficiently, such as entering leads from external websites into Siebel OnDemand CRM, SalesForce.
* Assist with content updates on internal and external web sites as necessary.

Qualifications: Basic Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's Degree.
* Overall Experience: 5-7 years

Desired Qualifications
* Ability to code HTML, CSS, JavaScript by hand.
* Strong working knowledge of Perl / CGI scripting.
* Substantial experience with at least two of the following: Rsync, shell scripting, Python, AJAX, SOAP, XML.
* Substantial experience with at least two of the following: Rsync, shell scripting, Python, AJAX, SOAP, XML.
* Familiarity with content management systems (Plone / Zope is a plus).
* Comfortable working from a Unix command line.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to have partial overlap with North America EST business hours.

Contribution :
- Compared results of mapping’s target by running workflows through UNIX scripts.
- If target has some discrepancy in 8.6 and 9.0.1, have to analyze the reason and fix it.
- Debug the sessions by utilizing the logs of the sessions.
- Created a consolidated report of all the scripts.
