Purpose of the Job :
To technically support the sales team in customer acquisition, product demonstrations and trials, provide market intelligence and product specifications requirements

Working with the sales team to incorporate technology criteria to the overall sales strategy

Delivery of high quality pre-sales customer support, to win the technical decision in every sales cycle

Principle Accountabilities :
* To provide high quality technical support as required by Sales in order to meet the defined business plan for each assigned account
* To give high quality presentations, demonstrations, seminars and training to existing and potential customers in order to maximise the effectiveness of the sales campaign
* Maintain a good understanding of the differences between the Pace Networks products and those of the competition
* To ensure product and technology knowledge is kept up to date by reading literature, attending training courses and liaising with other Pace Networks staff as appropriate.
* To act as consultant to customers where required and suggest the best solution for both Pace Networks and the customer
* To provide customers with a superior level of service to ensure their satisfaction
* To provide consistent and regular open communication with all other departments within Pace Networks to ensure smooth operations
* To meet all commitments, internal and external, by the agreed time
* Product demonstrations and trials
* Configure systems for demonstration and lab/field trial where required. Work with customer to evaluate the capabilities of the Networks' products
* Provide initial trial technical support to customer

Qualifications, Skills & Experience :
10+ yrs Experience required

Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering (ECE/EEE/CSE/IT)

* A self motivated, creative, results orientated team manager with a passion for achieving strong sales, excellent relationships and year on year growth
* Drive to understand what the customer needs and to be able to articulate that information back to a team in a way as to motivate the team.
* Enthusiastic with the tenacity and interpersonal skills to overcome all potential barriers
Successful track record of technical pre sales and post sales support team management within the broadcast and networking industry with a minimum of ten years experience.
* Proven ability to champion efforts in a cross-functional organization, and solve problems.
* Project management experience handling multiple projects in a high pressure multi-customer environment including the ability to manage the troubleshooting and analysis process for specific customer support issues
* Excellent communication skills at all levels including product/solution positioning
* To have a good understanding of general business practices in the broadcast/broadband service provider business
* High level technical knowledge : IP networking technology, DVB broadcast technology, Cable TV network technology
* High level product knowledge : CMTS, cable modem, DVB Set Top Box (cable or satellite), cable TV coax amplifiers, satellite receiver LNB and in-building distribution systems
* The appointee will bring with them good technical experience in electronics/software development organizations with a record of innovation.
* Detailed technical knowledge : IP networking technology, DVB broadcast technology, Cable TV network technology
* Detailed product knowledge: CMTS, cable modem, DVB Set Top Box (cable or satellite), cable TV coax amplifiers, satellite receiver LNB and in-building distribution systems
* Technical troubleshooting and analysis skills

Description : DB-Nexus is the central data storage and maintenance system for all Risk Controlling Reference Data, thereby ensuring that there is one common set of Reference Data which can be maintained centrally and which can be used by all Risk Controlling Systems. Primarily, it stores and maintains reference data and hierarchies used in risk production processes.

Description : This is the application, which uploads client data into the database directly, following the business rules. The client data is obtained from a third party vendor application. The purpose of this project is to validate the data for business rules and provide error report in case of any business rule violation. The verification of Client data is done in a staging database and database link is established between master database and staging database and finally uploaded to master database. The data comes in flat file and procedures and SQL scripts do all validations.

Manual intervention cut down in this application and third party interface to System is built in this application.
