We are in the process of establishing a Tanner in Botswana which will process hides and skins in Beamhouse operation to crust or finishing. Therefore, we are looking for an individual with over 20 years of experience in this field of tanning, and who can assist us in the establishment of this tannery.

The candidates should also be aware of all processes involved in the tannery process , particularly in the production and quality control of various grade leather, cost analysis and control of individual products, factory and labour management, sales experience to promote chemicals in different tanneries by developing newarticles and solving day-to-day problems, laboratory experience in testing leather chemicals application in laboratory.

The tannery will process around 400 000 hides and skins for cows, goats and sheep per year. The hides will be both salt-cured and fresh hides and skins.
