    Global Institute of Intellectual Property, Delhi is organizing a 3-day workshop on Six Sigma Green Belt training and certification (A practical approach to improvement), in co-operation with Mr. Praveen Gupta, President, Accelper Consulting, USA, at the India Habitat Centre (IHC), Lodhi Road, New Delhi from 7th – 9th July 2010

    Six Sigma has been used by multinationals (MNCs) with great results. While statistics has a role in Six Sigma, its emphasis has been blown out of proportion. This workshop is a realistic guide on how to solve most business problems with improved process knowledge using powerful Six Sigma tools.

    About the Trainer - Mr. Praveen Gupta is engaged in helping companies benefit from Six Sigma, Process Excellence and Business Innovation and is instrumental in setting up the Business Innovator certification program at the Illinois Institute of Technology where he teaches Business Innovation (the certification has been approved by the Illinois State Government for enhancing skills). Prior to starting his consulting business Mr. Gupta worked at Motorola, and AT&T Bell Laboratories. Mr. Gupta is a graduate of IIT Roorkee. Mr. Gupta is also editor-in-chief of International Journal of Innovation Science and has authored several books including Business Innovation in the 21st Century, The Innovation solution, Six Sigma Performance Handbook, and Service Scorecard.
