Job Profile :
-Plan and carry out appropriate CAE strategy alongwith Engine engineer to verify design concepts and build confidence
-Use appropriate CAE tools to achieve best results in required timeframe
-Work with design and validation engineers to continuously improve CAE prediction accuracies through iterative process
-Involve hands-on in data collection for CAE inputs
-Use CAE tools & techniques effectively to drive CAE driven design optimisation
-Complete Ownership & execution of CAE tasks assigned (FEA, MBD, CFD,etc)
-Focus on engineering excellence & good, practical analysis methodologies.
-Ensure compliance to all process requirements & Quality systems
-Work seamlessly with Engine & validation engineers to achieve project goals

Experience :
-Experience in practical CAE problem solving, exposure to testing/ data collection linked to CAE like strain gauging, vibrations measurement,etc

Skills :
-Specific expertise in Multi body Dynamics, CFD
-Expertise in FEA and carrying out CAE work for structural strength, thermal , etc
-Good understanding of boundary conditions and practical FEA
-Hands on working knowledge of Nastran / Abaqus / Star-CD /Fluent / ADAMS
-Positive attitude, team working skills, communication.
-Based on expected failure mode, ability to work out a complete analysis strategy to verify the design and provide confidence

- Analysis of the Drop test rig Impactor: The project was aimed at investigating the stress behavior of the Drop rig impactor. Shell and solid meshing of the Drop rig impactor is done in Hypermesh with stringent quality Criteria. Analysis is done in LS Dyna giving 10 m/s velocity to the impactor for 30 milliseconds and it is impacted on the crash member of SUV.
- Analysis of Door Panel for Door Sag Test: The project was aimed at investigating the stress behavior of the door panel subjected to self weight loads so as to formulate the stresses at hinge location. Shell meshing for all the parts of the door panel is done in Hypermesh with stringent quality Criteria. Analysis is done in LS Dyna by applying 100 kg force at latch location for 50 milliseconds and door panel is constrained at hinge location.
