FINAL YEAR UNDERGRADUATE MAJOR PROJECT
Title- Generation of power from moving traffic
Description- In the following project we devise a method to generate electricity from moving traffic. One might think ‘How is that possible- ’. The basic concept behind this is to utilize the translatory motion of the vehicles moving on the road to rotate a small device known as dynamo to generate an e.m.f, when they pass over it. This rotatory motion produces an e.m.f. across the ends of the dynamo, and this energy produced is stored in a battery. This stored energy can be utilized to glow the street lights during the night hours.


Summer Training
Four weeks Summer Training at 132 KVA transmission and distribution substation (UPPCL), Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad (U.P).
