- INDUSTRIAL VISIT :
- Visited BHEL, RANIPET.
- The Principle & Working of different types of POWER PLANTS and HIGH PRESSURE BOILERS were seen and studied.
- PROJECT WORK :
- TITLE : VIBRATION ANALYSIS of COMPOSITE MATERIALS using ANALYTICAL and FEM Models.
- DESCRIPTION : Five different kinds of GLASS FIBRE’s namely E-Glass 300, E-Glass 450, Combined Titched, Woven Drawings& Chair Type was selected and fabricated. Tensile Testing (Tensile Strength, Density and Young’s Modulus) was performed on all these five materials. These results are fed into ANSYS and V-MAP Software’s. MODAL ANALYSIS was performed on all these Specimens and their Frequencies are being extracted using ANALYTICAL and FEM models. As a result, COMBINED TITCHED was found to have lower FREQUENCY, which is the best material suited to withstand VIBRATION.
