TRAINING AND PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN
Done project on “Planning and Designing Of BHA For Directional Drilling” : In this project attempt is to explain use various models for BHA of Directional Drilling. Also focus was laid on “Positioning Of Stabilizers”. Different Types Of assemblies like Build, Drop, Hold Assemblies were studied. The effect of WOB on behaviour of BHA was also considered. Various aspects of Directional Drilling like well planning, well trajectory like Build & Hold ‘L’ type , Build Hold and Drop ‘S’ type , Continuous Type Trajectory , types of BHA assembly for sliding and rotating, monitoring and control of Inclination Angle, Azimuth Angle, Tool Face with various assembly of BHA, different deflection tools with their proper use, Casing and Cementing Policy specially used in Directional Drilling, Well control. Project also deals with use advanced surveying tool MWD tool in detail with assembly and working of each component.

The project also includes case study of two different Horizontal Well with real well data including key elements like Well Planning , GTO(Geo Technical Order),observation through DPR (Drilling Progress Report),Fishing process implemented. During project duration, I am going through practical exposure of Directional Drilling, on working rig of ONGC , Ahmedabad.
SUMMER INTERNSHIP : INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED,PANIPAT
Title : “Designing ,Laying and maintenance out of crude oil pipeline ,product pipeline and Gas pipelines.
Detailed study was done in order to understand the concepts of designing of oil pipeline with practical exposure at working site of Panipat –Dadri LNG pipeline. Also various processing like Pigging, Hydroleak Test, SCADA system, various Coating Systems etc which are important for proper functioning of pipeline was done .Regarding maintenance operation I was put through scheduled maintenance operation of various equipments.
Done training in Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited, Varanasi U.P : Duration of training was 2 months ,during which I learned about functioning of various machines like Lathe machine ,Shaper machine, Drilling Machine, Grinding Machine etc. This BHEL plant is maintenance shop.
Done training in Maruti Regent Auto Works, Ghaziabad : Training was for two months during which I learned :
- Technical functioning of various systems in automobile.
- Various maintenance procedures of each part of a vehicle.
- How to maintain the engine and various other system.
- How to solve & exact way to be followed when problem is faced.
Done project on Design of Variable Cross sectional Fins – Project was based on designing of rectangular fins .The designing criteria was based on optimum efficiency, effectiveness & heat transfer. Initially size of fins is taken as (1m *1m *1m) .The two dimensions(any two) is varied with keeping one dimension being constant at a time and graph is plotted against efficiency, effectiveness & heat transfer. Based on reading of these graphs optimum size of fin was configured.
