Convolutional encoding with viterbi decoding is one of the most popular forward error correcting technique for error correction in communication systems especially in wireless digital communication. The objective of this project is to implement the code for convolutional encoding and Viterbi decoding on a black fin processor ADSP 532 using visual DSP++ tool.

ESTIMATON IN OFDM”
Brief Overview Of Project :
Carrier frequency Offset (CFO) estimation is a Key Challenge in wireless Systems employing OFDM modulation.CFO estimation is carried out using a preamble made of a number ,’J’ ,of repetitive slots (RS).The objective is to focus on the issue of optimal RS preamble design using the Cramer Rao Bound(CRB) averaged over the channel which is assumed to be Rayleigh and the optimal value of J is a trade off between the multipath diversity gain and the number of uknowns to be estimated.The proposed power loading scheme consist of allocating more power to activated carriers with higher SNR ratios.
