Role Objective The role shall be responsible for :
* Circuit Design of Consumer Electronic Products in data storage.
* Execute Engineering Trial for Product Verification and Validation.
* Guide PCB Design Engineer in component placement and routing
Principal Accountabilities :
* Understanding functional specifications of NAND Controller ASIC, NAND Flash technologies
* Designing digital circuits based on product requirements.
* Perform SI analysis, assist PCB Design Engineer, make prototype.
* Release BOM for Verification and Validation activity
* Perform Verification and Validation
* Release product to Manufacturing ensuring complete documentation
* Work closely with manufacturing to understand DFM and DFA issues and design the product per manufacturing limitations.
* Work closely with supply chain and manufacturing on cost reduction projects.
* Maintain current products and ensure release of product variants to manufacturing
Education :
* BE Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Experience :
* At-least 3 years of experience in high speed digital systems design
* Experience in designing FPGA’s and developing PCB platforms for prototyping with FPGA’s will be an added advantage
Knowledge and skill set :
* Experience in prototyping complex digital systems in consumer electronics filed.
* Proficient in using Schematic Entry, Signal Integrity tools
* Hands on experience in PCB design tools.
* Experience in or around manufacturing industry would be a big plus.
* Awareness of the product development lifecycle in a consumer electronics environment
* Experience with the coordination of internal and external resources
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
* Strong problem solving skills and work ethics are important
* Excellent team player
* “Out of the box” thinking ability.
