Details of the job:
Required : A professionally trained Biochemist/cosmetologist to develop a range of all natural skin care products at a manufacturing site in the hills of Uttarakhand
Project Position : Product developer for Natural handmade cosmetics
Project Duration : 3-4 months
Project Location : Supplier site in Uttarakhand
Key responsibility : Develop, test, stabilize and oversee final production of a range of Natural skin care products made with accepted natural stabilizers or preservatives ONLY
Position requirement :
• A graduate or post graduate in Biochemistry or Organic Chemistry and/or a diploma in cosmetology from a reputed and recognized university
• Industry experience of minimum 5 years in developing cosmetics
• Comprehensive understanding of quality compliance under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act
• Must have prior experience in development of products like light creams, natural face & body scrubs, natural liquid soap, face washes, lip balms etc.
• Must have familiarity with ingredients like beeswax, almond/apricot oil, soap nut, essential oils, natural stabilizers, preservatives and emulsifiers
Key deliverables : To develop following range of “all natural” personal care products as per a formulation brief including concept development, pilot trials with necessary analytical testing, market feedback & roll-out
