Job Description : Should have knowledge & experience in welding processes (SMAW, SAW, GTAW, GMAW & FCAW) etc. and selection of Welding Consumables. Should have knowledge in welding of high strength pipe line steels such as P22, P91 etc.. Ability to undertake weldment failure analysis, welding related problems (diagnosis & solutions). Development of new welding techniques & automation. Evaluation/Monitoring of welder's performance & action. Conversant with National & International codes like IS, ASME, ASTM, API, BS, IBR, AWS etc.. Experience in preparation & qualificationof WPS & PQR as per client's specification & applicable code. Follow & maintain all procedures, documentation etc. as per ISO.
