Job Profile Electronic Engineer

Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical innovations.
Drawing up plans and specifications for projects, using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
Estimating material, construction, and labour costs, and project timescales.
Coordinating technicians and craftspeople.
Testing installations and systems, and analysing data.
Making sure projects meet electrical and construction safety regulations.
Overseeing inspection and maintenance programmes.
Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations to managers and clients.
Key responsibilities of Mechanical Engineers :
· Owner/developer of platform BOM in cooperation with PDM manager
· Initiator of design changes in cooperation with PDM Manager
· Lead for mechanical design activities for new and current vehicles and vehicles in the field, in close cooperation with electrical engineers.
· Owner of platform tasks and issue list.
· Project lead for customer specific options.
· Owner of technical platform documentation (manual/data sheets).
· Point of contact for technical discussions with base vehicle manufacturer.

Knowledge, skills & experience required :
· Excellent skills in 3-D CAD- both in solid modelling of parts and assemblies, and also production of working drawings for manufacturer (SolidWorks training and experience is preferred, but other 3-D experience such as Solid Edge, Pro-Engineer is also acceptable as conversion training can be provided if necessary).
· Familiar with surface modelling.
· A thorough understanding of stress analysis, mechanics of materials and the behaviour of components and structures under both static and dynamic loading.
· Significant post-graduate work experience e.g. in design of high performance fabricated components, structures and assemblies, machine design, automotive/specialist vehicle design, or engineeringconsultancy.

Qualifications Required :
B Sc, B Eng or M Eng degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related subject) or Diploma in ME

Freshers with 0 -2 years expereince can apply for the post , ITI and PUC candidate cal also apply
