Nor Crane a manufacturer of hydraulic deck machinery for the marine and offshore industry with offices in Dubai, Singapore, Norway, China and India is planning to extend its activities and are in the process to establish an engineering department in the Dubai office, position required for immediate placement is as follows :

Qualification : BE/BTech/BS in Mechanical Engg. – First Class

Experience : Minimum 5-6 Years in Mechanical Design and CAD Out of 5-6 years experience, candidate should have Min. 3 years Design and CAD experience in Offshore/Oil & Gas/Marine/Ship building domains Knowledge of Mathcad, Ansys, Hydraulic Cylinders, Cranes, Winches, deck machinery and Interaction with class societies (ABS, DNV etc.) would be a definite plus to candidate.

Basic Skill set : Design Calculations, GD&T, Solidworks 2D/3D (Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Weldment, BOM Gen., Revision control, Basic Surfacing), AutoCAD

Design Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and responsibilities include :
Design calculations for Cranes/Winches and other deck machineries
New Product Development
Drawing creation using AutoCAD
3D modeling, drawing creation and BOM generation of product using Solidworks
Maintain proper revision control for the models/drawings
Taking part in product testing
Interaction with class societies for certification of the completed product design
Preparation of Design/Design Verification document
Complete the assigned task in the given schedule
Candidates with higher experience can be considered for Senior Design Engineer position. Only candidates having matching qualification, experience, and skill set need apply.
