AN OPPORTUNITY TO UNDERGO GRADUATE / TECHNICIAN APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING IN NLC

NLC Ltd., a leading Public Sector Enterprise, under the Ministry of Coal, earning profit over three decades and poised for rapid growth in terms of Mining activities and Power generation, proposes to engage Graduate and Technician Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 purely for ONE YEAR training in the following designated subject fields:-

Designated Subject Fields :
1 Mechanical Engineering
2 Electrical Engineering
3 Civil Engineering
4 Instrumentation
5 Chemical Engineering
6 Mining Engineering
7 Computer Science & Engineering
8 Electronics & Communication
9 Transportation Engineering

Technician Apprenticeship Training :
Qualification :
Diploma in Engineering in the respective discipline with 55% marks(50% for SC/ST)
Stipend :Rs.1850/- p.m. (inclusive of all)

Graduate Apprenticeship Training :
Qualification :
Degree in Engineering in the respective discipline with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST
Stipend :Rs.2600/- p.m. (inclusive of all)

OTHER ELIGIBILITES :
1) Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam on or after 01-04-2007.
2) Candidates should not have undergone or undergoing Apprenticeship Training in NLC or elsewhere.
3) Candidates should not have experience of one year or more.
4) Candidates belonging to the states of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and the Union
Territories of Puducherry and Laksha Deep only are eligible.
Reservation of training slots as per rules.
Selection will be based on percentage of marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying Degree / Diploma, as the case may be. In case of more than one candidate scoring the same percentage of marks at the cut-off level, the senior most candidates shall be considered for selection, based on the date of birth.

Completion of training does not entitle the candidates any right to claim temporary / permanent nature of job in NLC by virtue of this training

Interested candidates meeting the above eligibility norms are advised to submit their application through ONLINE REGISTRATION in NLC website (www.nlcindia.com) between 10.00 Hours on 05-05-2010 & 17.00 Hours on 12-05-2010 and to send the Registration Slips to the Chief Manager (Personnel), Recruitment Cell, P&A Department, Corporate Office, NLC Limited, Block-1, Neyveli-607 801, Tamilnadu, so as to reach on or before 15-05-2010, enclosing the Photostat copies of the following certificates:
i) Degree / Diploma Certificates, as the case may be;
ii) Consolidated (or) Semester-wise (all semesters) Mark lists of Degree / Diploma;
iii) Community Certificate (in case of belonging to SC / ST / OBC)
iv) Transfer Certificate
v) Proof for Physically Disabled Person (if applicable)

i have completed my b.tech(ECE) in 2010 with 4 year gap between 12 and b.tech due to hardly prepare for iit and become patient of T.B. now due to hearing loss i am under the physically disabled candidate. and my original age becomes 28.5 year so i would handle my family but i am without any job can you help me? Bsnl recruits pwd so i left all things and prepare for this but it may not be secure since total seats is 73 but it is nonunifomaly distributed to each circle and for each circle exam date will be same.may you say in which circle chance of success is more.seats are as- Mh-17,karnatka-15,gujrat-16, bihar-4,wb-7,calcutta-6 e.tc may u tell me in which state more no of deaf engineering students persent? and where i should appear? (i fill up form of all circle).what will be cutt off for pwd candidate in bsnl jto exam section wise.?what will be alternative jobs for me?how i can entering in telcome sector?
