Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following positions in Group-III grades at Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, Pilani (a constituent laboratory of CSIR) as per details given below. The Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, is a premier institution devoted to R&D activities in the areas of (1) Semiconductor Devices [Sub areas: MEMS, Microsensors, VLSI Design(Digital, Analog, Mixed Signal), Opto-electronic Technologies, Photonic Devices and Sub-Systems, Nano-electronics] (2) Electronic Systems[Sub areas: Electronic Systems for Agri-Process Control, Industrial Control & Automation, Power Electronics, Robotics, Image Processing & DSP, Embedded System Design] (3) Microwave Tubes[Sub areas: Klystron, Magnetron, Travelling Wave Tubes, Thyrotron, Gyrotron, Terra Hertz devices].

Qualifications and experience:
1st Class Diploma in Civil,Electrical Engineering of three years full time duration.
Pay Band: Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2)Rs.4200/Rs.20655/

Mode of Selection:
a) Mere fulfillment of educational qualifications and experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. The duly constituted Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short-listing the candidates to be called for interview. Only those candidates, who in the opinion of the Institute, suit the Institutional requirements, will be called for interview. The candidate should therefore, mention in the application all the qualifications and experiences in the relevant area over and above the minimum prescribed qualification supported with documents.

b) Candidate should ensure that he/she possesses educational qualification/experience in the relevant area as required in the category/post, for which he/she is applying, on the last date of receipt of application

c) The period of experience in the requisite discipline/area of work wherever prescribed shall be counted with effect from the date of acquiring the prescribed minimum educational qualifications required for that post.

d) Only outstation candidates called and found eligible for interview will be paid to and fro single second class rail fare from the actual place of undertaking the journey or from the normal place of their residence whichever is nearer to the place of interview on production of Rail Tickets/Rail Ticket Numbers or any other proof of journey. Any discrepancy found between the information given in application and as evident in original documents will make the candidate ineligible for appearing in interview. Such candidate will not be paid any fare.

How to Apply & Application Fee:
a) Prescribed Application form should be downloaded from CEERI website www.ceeri.res.in Completed application(s) in all respects, supported by attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, experience, etc together with an application fee (if applicable) of Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) in the form of crossed Demand Draft valid for at least 6 months, in favour of Director, CEERI payable at Pilani is to be sent in an envelope superscribing “Application for the post____________ (nameof post applied for with Post code)” to the Controller of Administration, Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, Pilani (Rajasthan) –333031, so as to reach on or before 21st May 2010.

b) Candidate belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped category and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee.

c) Separate applications along with appropriate fees are to be made for different posts if a candidate is desirous of applying for more than one post.

d) Applications from employees of Government Departments will be considered only if forwarded through proper channel, duly certified by the employer that the applicant will be relieved within one month of the receipt of the appointment letter, if selected. Vigilance clearance in respect of the employee should also be recorded in the forwarding letter. However, advance copy of the application may be submitted before the closing date. Applications routed through proper channel should reach CEERI at the earliest.

e) Candidates should specifically note that the applications received after the closing date for any reason whatsoever (such as envelopes wrongly addressed, delivered elsewhere, postal delay etc.) will not be entertained by CEERI. Any enclosure received separately subsequent to the receipt of the application cannot be connected therewith. No representation in this regard will be entertained.

f) Incomplete application (i.e. without photograph, without attested copy of educational certificates/experience certificate, unsigned and blank columns will not be entertained and will stand rejected.
