Details of the job:
The ASB clinic in Serrekunda/The Gambia is looking for a gynecologist/obstetrician with excellent operation skills and ultrasound.
The ASB clinic is a small institution with the focus on maternity, deliveries and gynecological operations. It is an EMOC centre within the greater Banjul area.
Approx. 36.000 patients are treated annually, most of them women in reproductive age, children, more than 6.000 ante natal visits and about 110 deliveries per month.
Responsibilities :
Ante Natal care
Ultrasound
Excellent emergency and operation skills (Emoc)
General medical care for patients
call duties
Knowledge of PPTCT / PLHIVs/ ART
Staff training
Qualifications :
Diploma or consultant in gynecology/obstetrician
At least 5 years of work experience in Obs/Gyn
Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations
Team spirit
Sound knowledge of PPTCT/PLHIVs/ART
Capability of staff training/risk management/development
Weoffer :
Basic net salary : Euro 900,-
(Working hours : 9hrs – 15hrs and emergency duties)
Additional income through private practice in the evening hours,
Private ultrasound examinations, operation fees etc. (According to performance up to 2000 Euro monthly)
Work begin: as soon as possible
