We are looking for Indian Nationals Currently available in India for the position of Senior Offshore Structural Design Engineer for 6 months contract duration with scope for permanent employment with our Client in Qatar, a leading Oil & Gas Consultancy.

The Details are as follows :
Client’s Structural department is working with concept studies, FEED, and detailed engineering on extension and modification projects of oil and gas plants - both onshore and offshore. To strengthen their competences they are looking for senior offshore Structural Engineers with extensive petrochemicals, oil and gas industry experience.

Your work will include minimum of :
** Analysis, Design and detailing of steel and RC structures
** Run structural analysis for platform modification.
** Experience in topside design and jacket design and analysis
** Preparation of Design Basis Report & Technical Specification
** Participating in Design Review and Progress Review meeting with Client
** Preparation of Deliverable list & Schedule, Man-hour estimate ,Resource requirement and Progress report
** Providing input to Project Planning Engineer to prepare project schedule
** Coordination with various other departments for Civil Input Data
** Standardization of Design Procedures
** Preparation of Check list and Design Guidelines
** Cost and quantity for pre-bid engineering
** Development of spreadsheet in excel for design

Your profile
Our Client expects that you are :
** BE/ME Holder in Structural Engineering
** have minimum 7 years of experience with structural design of offshore platforms, refineries, petrochemical and process plants
** Technically sound with a good deal of practical understanding
** should be well versed with drawings and documents like Plot plans, layouts, Area Drawings and Standards & codes
** familiar and have practical experience with Staad pro, SACS ,Autocad, Micro station, Excel & Word
** Must have min 5-7 yrs of SACS experience.
** professionally committed and have good interpersonal skills
** fluent in written and spoken English
** have an out-going personality, are independent, and can take on responsibility
