“E-mail Access Through Landline Telephone Using Speech Resource
Technology”.

PROJECT ABSTRACT :
In our project the person can access his/her E-mail through landline telephone. This
project is mainly done for downtrodden peoples, blind peoples and for military use
also. In this we are acting as automated browsing center, we will get the user
alphanumeric E-mail and password and then after that we will give a numeric id
and password to the user to dial through telephone. When the user want to check
the mail he will dial this numeric id and password, if this numeric id and password is
matched with the alphanumeric E-mail id and password then by using SAPI (Speech
Agent Programmable Interface) we can convert the text which is written in E-mail
into speech and it can hear by the user through normal landline telephone. This
project is used to improve communication between people who doesn’t know to use
personal computers. This project also bring a new way for communication between
telephones and personal computers.
