Work Description

- Co-ordination with Marketing Department for receipt of new order technical requirements and timely compliance.
- Resource planning (monthly, weekly and daily basis.) & making monthly reports i.e. COPQ, RM Req etc.
- To ensue optimal utilization of resources & Inventory control, Stock reconciliation.
- Equipment balancing for optimum productions
- To review production schedules & priorities to diff. Production centers. I.e. Steel Melting Shop, Hot Rolling Mill, Grinding Section, Finishing Section & A P Line etc.
- Capacity calculation for incoming new products in plant.
- Time study to eliminate extra movement, for increasing productivity.
- To follow up with purchase department for timely receipt of raw materials.
- Achieve the goals and objectives of the organization within the stipulated time.
- Continuously working towards improvement through TPM, Kaizen, 5’S.
- Maintaining FIFO SYSTEM in plant.
- Maintain all work related to 5’s, TPM & SIX SIGMA activity.

Job Responsibilities

- First responsibility is to maximize production with best planning.
- To ensure the proper implementation of TPM, and Q-SHE policy.
- Co-ordination with production dep’t. To chase the difficulty for smooth running of line to optimize the production.

Major achievement in Jindal Stainless

- Increase the yield of S.S. plates in different grade drastically by 8%.
- Yield & Production improvement in Hot rolled SS products.

- Training programme is conducted on ISO-14001 awareness, emergency preparedness, resource saving & role and responsibilities.
