National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites applications from officers under the Central/State Governments Departments/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings for appointment on deputation basis to the following posts. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease as per requirement of the Authority.
In case of any discrepancies in eligibility/experience criteria, the Recruitment Rules as per NHAI Regulations will be final:

1) Name of the post : Deputy General Manager (Legal) 2
Pay Scale :PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs.7600
Age limit : 56 years
Educational Qualification : A Degree in Law from a recognized University.
Experience :

2) Name of the post : Deputy General Manager (Env.) 1
Pay Scale :PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs.7600
Age limit : 56 years
Educational Qualification :Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from a recognized University

3) Name of the post : Manager (Legal) 4
Pay Scale :PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs.7600
Age limit : 56 years
Educational Qualification : A Degree in Law from a recognized University

4) Name of the post : Manager (Fin) 86
Pay Scale :PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.6600 (6th Central Pay
Age limit : 56 years
Educational Qualification : (i) Degree of a recognized University
(ii) Intermediate Chartered Accountant; or
(iii) Intrmediate Cost Accountant; or
(iv) SAS Exam. of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service

5) Name of the post : Assistant Manager(Vigilance) 11
Pay Scale :PB-2 (Rs.9300-34800) with Grade Pay of Rs.4800
Age limit : 56 years
Educational Qualification : Degree of a recognized University.

Other conditions (Deputation):
1. The Department/Organization concerned while forwarding the application –
(a) Shall enclose attested copies of Annual Confidential Reports for the last eight years (for DGM) along with a disciplinary/vigilance clearance certifying that no penalty is imposed against the officer for last eight years. In case of posts of Managers & Asstt. Managers, ACR and Vigilance clearance may be certified during last five years
(b) Certify that the particulars given by the candidates in their application especially column No.09 & 10 regarding the details of relevant experience have been verified from the service records and are true, correct and complete for the post applied for.
2. Applications not submitted in the prescribed format or incomplete in any respect shall be liable for summary rejection.
3. If a large number of applications are received, only those candidates who are short listed on the basis of qualifications, experience, tenure and level of service in the relevant field shall be considered for selection/called for interview.
4. The post carry all India service liability. Therefore, only those who are willing to serve anywhere in India may apply.
5. Candidates who are more than 56 years of age(unless relaxed for specifically) and those who are due to retire from their parent cadres with in two years as on closing date for receipt of application need not apply.
6. Regular employees of NHAI, who fulfill the eligibility conditions prescribed for promotion to any of the above-mentioned posts, as on the last date for receipt of applications, may also apply. In case they are selected, their appointment will be on promotion basis as per the guidelines (Regulations) on the subject.

Properly filled in Applications complete in all respect alongwith requisite documents may be sent by Registered / Speed Post through proper channel to the following address so as to reach latest by 28.05.2010. The envelop containing application should be super scribed with “Application for the post of ______ (name of the post) on Deputation”.
