Job Description :

Technical Skills needed :

• ETL tool development experience, in particular using SAP BODI

• Conceptual, logical and physical data modeling through use of a data modeling tool is a plus

Experience with technology in one or more of the following areas :

• SAP BODI. Experience with other ETL Tools (Informatica, Data Stage, Ab Initio, etc.) is a nice-to-have

• Data Modeling (Erwin, Embarcadero, Power Designer) is a plus

Responsibilities :
Methodology, governance and quality assurance 5%
ETL Design (Source to Target, ETL Flows, Framework) 40%
ETL Development and QA 40%
Team mentoring & Leadership 5%

Desired Profile:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, etc)
3+ years working on BI/DW projects in particular SAP BI projects
3+ years of deep experience as an general ETL Developer well-versed in ETL tool usage, architecture, design and development
Ability to develop specifically using the SAP BusinessObjects Data Integrator ETL tool (also known as BODI). Some basic knowledge with other ETL tools (Informatica, Data Integrator, Ab Initio or Data Stage).
Substantial ETL design experience within data warehousing environments governed by applying appropriate methodologies and ETL standards

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Analyze business data requirements to produce relevant ETL architecture deliverables (source analysis, source to target maps, ETL flows)

- Work with ETL developers and Business Analysts to develop source to targets maps and identify transformation rules

- Create or alter data integration blueprint and install, configure and tune ETL infrastructure to support the data warehousing solution

- Develop ETL flows and framework to support ETL development

- Participate as the lead ETL developer using an ETL tool

General consulting skills, including : team facilitation, business case development, etc.

Project management : lead small teams of 1 3 resources (both consulting and client employees).
