This project was a part of the course during third year second semester. The objective of the project is to build an electric meter that works on the basis of the balance present and to recharge it whenever the balance reduces to zero. This is a small scale embedded system based project. The code is written in embedded C. The IPS programmer is used to dump the code onto the microcontroller (8051).

Description :
The main theme of this project is to stop the vehicle while moving forward direction if it senses any obstacle. In this project the vehicle is designed with a IR signal transmitter and a receiver to detect the obstacle in the rear side of the car.
The rear side of the car is fitted with an IR signal transmitter and a receiver. The signal from the IR transmitter is reflected back to the IR receiver if it finds any obstacle in the rear side of the car.
The IR receiver is also mounted in the rear side of the car so the reflected signal directly reaches the receiver. The receiver is connected to the car engine or motor to drive or to stop the car.
