Project Engineering Co-ordinators report to the PEManagers and work with them closely and are regarded as next in line as far as the project specific engineering organization goes.
These are a breed different from the engineering leads due to their multi engineering discipline experience and capability to deal with all lead engineers, PMT and Client team. World over their compensation package are generally higher than engineering leads or supervisors. They are project engineering managers or area/ project managers in the making

Job Requirements:
** Minimum Bachelors degree in engineering from a recognized University
** Minimum 12 years experience in engineering, preferably with an engineering consultancy or EPIC contractor
** A minimum of 5 years offshore facilities engineering experience of which 2 years must be as a project engineering co-ordinator directing and guiding design and engineering activities
** A good blend of Greenfield and brownfield engineering experience would be advantageous
** Should have co-ordinated engineering work for at least one project of 60,000 mhrs and more
** Experience in working with multiple engineering offices and diverse work cultures would be advantageous
** Must have lead a defined area of the engineering design team, including the co-ordination of the inputs from engineering groups and any specialist vendors, sub-contractors and consultants into the design
** Experience in timely production of design and engineering deliverables and their integration with requirements of procurement, fabrication, regulatory bodies and Client is expected.
** Co-ordination, monitoring and controlling all RFQ/ TQ/ TBA and Vendor data review activities will be a job requirement
** Experience in co-ordination and expediting Client approvals, vendor data, interfaces with client/ other contractors/ sub-contractors/ construction and hook up teams and other engineering offices is a must
** Some planning experience in developing engineering schedule and reporting progress is expected
