GSM Based information Retrieval and Automation system :
Tools used : Psoc Designer suite to develop code, Psoc programmer to dump the code in microcontroller.
Hardware modules used : Psoc microcontroller, Temperature Sensors, Smoke sensor, GSM Modem.
Description : In this project an attempt has been made to develop a GSM based industrial automation system. The design of a stand alone embedded system that can monitor and control various process and equipment and critical systems locally using built in input and output peripherals is presented. Remotely the system allows the various authorities monitoring and controlling the critical parameters via the mobile phone set by sending commands in form of sms messages and receiving the process. The GSM modem provides the communication media between the authority and the system by means of sms messages.
Fault Secure Encoder and Decoder for nano Memory Applications :
Language of Implementation : Verilog HDL.
Tool used : Cadence.
Description : Memory cells have been protected from errors for more than a decade, due to the increase in error rate in logic circuits, the encoder and decoder circuitry around the memory blocks have become susceptible to errors as well and must also be protected. We introduce a new approach to design fault-secure encoder and decoder circuitry for memory designs.
