1. Responsibilities :
Configuration Management
** Responsible for carrying out configuration of BSS nodes (BTS/BSC/TRC).
** Configuration Change Planning : effectively plan to implement all Configuration activities related to BSS nodes (BTS/BSC/TRC) as per network requirement.
** Change implementation : need to carry out changes after preparing MOP/SOP for planned activity according to severity.
** Pre/Post change checks : to ensure that the configuration activity has been carried out properly without any impact on services, Pre/post activity checks and testing will have to be done.
** Problem solving : must be able to pro-actively analyze problems and determine solutions based on the facts. .
** Team working : must be able to work closely with the project team and other internal departments.
** To ensure the change request are handled so as to meet SLAs well within the time limits.
** Interface with the other organizational entities like D&P, NPI, FM, GNOC - FO, GNOC - BO etc
** Ability to perform under time constraints depending upon the business requirements.
** Responsible for following the laid down processes documentation of BSS domain
** Flexibility to work in schedules as per Business requirements
** Responsible for delivery of required reports for daily/weekly/monthly analysis/trending/improvements of complete BSS CRs/data as per business requirements
** Interpersonal skills : must be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication. Ability to listen to others and exchange information and knowledge clearly and concisely

** At least 1-7 years experience in Telecom/IT sector
** Experience in handling Ericsson's BSS Network preferred
2. Essentials for the role
** Good hands on over live BSS network & able to manage the configuration of BSS nodes (BTS/BSC/RBSC/TRC).
** Good knowledge of IP technologies, routing protocols, firewall policies would be required
** Knowledge on Ericsson Networks preferred
** Good understanding of Configuration Management within BSS network
